Our run of good luck with the weather continued, so we went on a shorter walk this time, to a beach close to the ship. Again, the gorgeous sandy beach was deserted, although fortunately one of the beachside tavernas was still open, so we just sat and had a beer as we enjoyed the winter sun.
The barman reckoned that the sea temperature only drops by one or two degrees over winter, but that seemed fairly unlikely when we dipped our toes into the water – no chance of a repeat of yesterday's swimathon today.
