After all the excitement of yesterday in the Winelands, we had a slightly lower-octane day, exploring Cape Town's vibrant Victoria and Alfred Waterfront – visiting its efficient malls, and having a tasty (and cheap) lunch, and just enjoying its beautiful setting.
As the final leg of the world cruise started, we had the perfect send off from South Africa, as we sailed away from Table Mountain, so I went up to the bridge to narrate a few of the sights that we were seeing as we headed around Robben Island – one of the major symbols of the Apartheid system.
