After yesterday's extreme exertions, the idea of getting up at 4.30am to get our flight back to the ship in Singapore, was not an appealing one. Nonetheless, we managed to haul our weary bodies to the airport, and mostly dozed our way back to Singapore.
At Singapore, we drove to the new cruise terminal at Marina Bay – from one year to the next, this new part of Singapore gets steadily more impressive.
It's amazing to think that since I've left the ship, I've been to two mindblowing places I've always wanted to go to Angkor Wat and Bhutan. They were both superb and truly stunning, but it's always good to get back home (at least my temporary home for 4 months).
