We moved down the Mosel to our favourite German campsite in the little wine town of Zell, in a steep valley surrounded by neat vineyards – an idyllically beautiful spot, where the campsite was superfriendly (a rarity in the last few weeks), the WiFi was free, and the town just a short walk.
Here we were joined by Tracy's Mum and neice, so we really could have done with some good weather rather than having to shelter from the rain in the campervan as in recent weeks, but sadly the weather gods weren't shining on us, so we had a fair bit of shower dodging to do.
Yet, in spite of the dodgy weather, a fun time was had by all and Tracy has still decreed that she could see herself living here. If only we spoke German…..
